Setbacks can get stuffed

Left Japan in March 2010 at about 58kg, put on 6kg while travelling and had issues losing weight since then. Lack of motivation, money, time, all those lovely things.

Now i’m down to 59, 4 more to go before I’m back to my high school weight. Thanks yoga, zumba, and generally eating healthy.

But FRICK do I want to scoff down a tonne of chocolate.

I’m aiming at 55kg for a friends wedding in September.



Down to 57.5kg

Went back home in December… 62kgs. Left Australia in January 60kg (lost weight over xmas… yeah!), just got over a week of the flu and now i’m down to 57.5… the lowest i’ve been since high school. 2.5 more kgs to go and i’m @ my goal. I eat maybe half the amount I used to, and I very rarely eat carbs… only lunch during work days, and only bread. No rice, pasta or noodles (which is an impossible feat living in Japan. I’m forever eating side salads).

I’ve made a bet with mum, and if I lose, I pay for our trip… if she loses she pays for our trip, if we both win, we pay for ourselves, if we both lose, we go nowhere. She’s got 10kg to lose and I had 5 kg.

Starting Monday, situps, push ups and yoga, running on weekends.

Current Weight: 57.5



Still 60kg...

Starting to sound like a broken record, but it’s now or never. My bestie has just come back to visit Japan from Dubai and has given me instpiration to get off my arse and loose some weight… after she lost 10kg. I’ve only got 5 to lose but I keep pussying around and not losing it.

It’s gonna take a lot more work than I thought. Gym 4 times a week or more. Running on the weekend. Eating less. Drinking… not at all maybe? Starting… July 1st.

Current Weight: 60kg



Slowing down

This one’s a little hard right now… started new classes at work and got a cold AGAIN. At least March was flu-free. So I can’t go to the gym at the moment, but after I come back from Vietnam i’ll be right back in the swing of things.

...And i’ve lost weight but it’s all turning into muscle so my weight is always hovering around the same number.

Current Weight: 60kg



2 weeks later...

I lost 1.5kg… only really water weight, but i’m back in the 50’s. Yay!

Current weight: 59.5kg



Back into the swing of things

So I changed jobs October last year, and quit the gym. After a comment from my boyfriend about needing to lose weight (which I don’t need to but I would probably be more confident if I did), I decided to re-join the gym. Going to find a way to fit it into my hectic lifestyle. And going to cut back on all the sugary food I occasionally eat.

Current weight: 61kg



Initial success!

I’ve been eating healthier and jogging some mornings as well as reducing the amount of food I actually eat… so I lost 3 kgs! Yay! Down to 60kgs, only 5 more to go… but less than 2 weeks till Thailand.

Lazy and lumpy

55kgs was my high school weight, and I know I can get back to it if I actually try. Because it’s not a health problem, I never do anything about it, but i’m going to Thailand in 2 months and I wanna look sexy in a bikini. At the moment i’m 63kgs, and I won’t reach 55kgs by Thailand, but I will lose something.
