I’ve been singing in the kitchen along to my iPod lately while making dinner. And it doesn’t matter if my husband is in the other room anymore, so maybe I’m starting to get over the singing shyness.

I used to sing all the time when I was young 4 years ago

But I got older and paranoid and you can’t get me to sing in public anymore.

For my husband’s 40th, I taught myself a song on guitar and sang him a song. He was thrilled beyond belief – he always wants me to sing while he plays.

I’m still having trouble coming out of my singing shell. Hm.
