practice guitar every day

I’ve found an excellent routine to achieve this. My daughter, who’s 9, used to go to sleep listening to some gentle guitar jazz. When I got my new acoustic guitar I played it to her, and next day she asked me to play after stories, as she went to sleep. Now she demands it every day! Hey presto. Daily guitar practice. Something about the regularity of scales and arpeggios really sends her to sleep quickly, and I quite often end up staying much longer, once I get a rhythm going. Recommended!
