is my idol as a bass player. I’ve been watching some videos of him playing and demonstrating on YouTube, and I think it will be worth studying some of his techniques more closely. A tragedy that he died at 36, but he had already expanded the art in so many wild directions that I wonder where he could have gone next. He certainly hasn’t been surpassed since.
