read my bible everyday

I haven’t been on this website for a while but I have been continuing to read my Bible. I have a website that I’m doing the Bible in a Year…it emails me everyday with the daily reading. It really works for me. I just wanted to post an update. It’s good to see other people with the same goal. :)

So the page says there are 33 people wanting to read their Bibles everyday. Is anyone else doing it? I’ve been reading and then I decided I wanted to do a Bible in a year. Well, I waited until yesterday – the 12th to decide to it. That means I have a lot of catching up to do for the last 12 days. I read a lot today so I’m about half way caught up. There was an ice storm here last night and today so church is cancelled tomorrow plus I’m out of school on Monday for MLK Jr. Day so I should have plenty of time to catch up. I just wanted to see what other people were reading and see how it was going.

I just wanted to post to say I’ve been keepin’ it up. I have loved doing this ‘quiet’ time with my Lord every day. It really does make such a difference in my life.

Today I took time to read and pray before I was evaluated at work. That precious time with our Lord really does calm me. He is so good! The evaluation went great.

The last three days I’ve read without a hitch. It is such an amazing feeling to be reading His Word, it’s also amazing just knowing that I’ve stuck to something. Sometimes I can get so lazy and not be disciplined.

I read Romans 11-15. It was some really good stuff. It feels good to get back into the routine of things. God is good! :)
