paint a table

I “inherited” this awesome old black table from my nanny family, and I hope to paint it this summer…

I bought a table several months ago…just a small end table, but never got around to painting it. Last weekend I bought a little desk to strip and paint, and I went to Home Depot today to get started! I ended up buying a lot of stuff at Home Depot, but I think I’ll be able to use a lot of it for the desk and the table. I hope to finish the desk by Sept 22nd, and maybe the table too if I can swing it. Otherwise, my goal will be to paint the table by the beginning of January after I have a nice long Winter Break to work on it.
