recycle

I’m going to the dump tomorrow to drop off cardboard, plastics, glass, and aluminum. I have separated each type and removed labels from glass and plastic. Everything is clean and free of food particles. I’ve got the plastics loaded in the car.

I have a bag full of things to take to be recyled at the dump. I am taking the cardboard boxes from my move on Monday.

I am still returning those Wal-Mart bags to the store as I have them and I’m using my own shopping bag most of the time.

I just discovered that there are “drop-off” boxes for recyling glass, plastic, cardboard, and aluminum. I have designated trash cans for type. I still need to call about the landfill and see what plastics they are recycling so that I take the “right” plastics there. But for now, I’m collecting the materials. I am also recyling the plastic bags I get from Wal-Mart by taking them back to the store. I use a cloth bag for shopping but sometimes it isn’t enough so I have those bags. I think I will buy another bag for shopping since two will work for me most of the time.
