This sounds like it would be great but when you really dig down to the details, it might kinda suck. It’s the freedom and spirit that attracted me to this goal… which I can have without wandering the country.

One year… my backpack, laptop, good friends, good drink, and unknown cultures to explore. We’d ride the trains, work on fruit farms, and travel the country checking out jazz clubs and poetry open mics.
