I just didn’t realize it at the time. He’s so sweet, caring, generous, thoughtful, loving, and so on. I should have taken better care of the relationship in the first place, but being a teenager at the time made it difficult. Fortunately, it looks like life might be giving me a second chance. Even if we don’t end up together romantically again, he’ll still be a friend that I can trust and talk with about anything. So I’m counting this as done.
