For one week..until my birthday…no cake, icecream, chocoloate, cookies, muffins, mentos, or other processed sugar crap. Period.

The less I eat, the better I feel, the better I feel, the more a slight dip in the mood makes me nervous then I start eating sugar again. A friend told me that the teeth of human skeletons from thousands of years back had no cavities because we did not eat sugar back then…hmmmmm. We don’t really NEED sugar, do we?
I can try the sugaring-off and sugaring-on days again. I’ve got myself a little agenda book this time!
is to only eat sugar treats on Christmas day.
and every day for the past ??? days has been a sugaring-on day. I have to stay out of cafés and malls when I’m hungry..and eat more salad!
with that carton of “Limited Edition Baileys Irish Cream flavoured Hagen Daaz” in the freezer.
How come my sugar cravings can’t be satisfied with bread and jam? How come I have to have a cookie or many cookies to fulfill my sugar desires?
but I do workout most days, so I probably need all the yummy, satisfying carbs. Really, I’m not enough of a carnivore to do the Atkins or South Beach diet.
I have to study so of course I feel nervous and I just saw an advertisement with cookies in it!! I so want a cookie now…no, I want every kind of cookie you find in the Peak Freans Assorted Creme pack: chewy apricot-centre, chocolate creme, digestive, vanilla creme and the other one whatever it is!!! I also want a Toblerone chocolate bar like the one I saw six times on TV when I wasn’t supposed to be watching…Or just a plain old milk chocolate Hershey bar that will slowly melt in my mouth…or even some gummi bears, nibs, fruit mentos, or SKITTLES – the stick-to-your-teeth sour sugary ones that I can organise into groups of different colours so I can one-by-one eat a different colour each time. Aaaaah, that feels better. I think the craving is gone. Now to the books….
Emotional eating attack on the way! I’ll try an orange and see if the more damaging craving goes away.
