To catch up, this week and next week we would learn 4 new words.
chary – cautious, wary
fatuous – inanely foolish, stupid, illusory
adumbrate – to sketch an outline, to suggest/disclose partially
supposititious – counterfeit, hypothetical
Scuttlebutt is one of the chief forms of communication in large organizations.
Education is the tool to eliminate nescience among masses.
I am looking for two or three more people to join me in this goal of learning 2 words a week for a year ( which is 100+ words ). When we have a team, we can try to use the words in our own sentences, find its antonyms, verb forms and so on. Every member gets to choose the two words of the week on a rotation basis.
If this sounds like fun, join in. First come first served :-)
Pick 2 useful words from past week word of the day at dictionary or m-w and learn them.
