My mother is not in the best of healthy. My best friend is a deputy sheriff. I have friends who have husbands and brothers fighting in the military. My cousin is a marine.
It is entirely (though I hope never) possible that one of these people could die, be shot, or injured at a moment’s notice and I would need to be there.
