my basil is shooting up on the windowsill. i tried a leaf the other day but it doesn’t taste basily yet. my friend is convinced that they’re weeds and not basil at all, wouldn’t be overly suprised cos i got them free with a packet of pasta.

the basil in pots on the windowsill are coming along nicely, but i don’t know if they’ll be pluckable before exams finish. all the same, it’s good to wake up and see something making daily progress (cos I’m sure as hell not).
