visit sikkim

Finally after planning for 2 years, we made it to this heavenly abode. It was magnificient! Out of this world! We visited the East Sikkim and North Sikkim apart from spending time in Gangtok, capital of Sikkim. east Sikkim has a pretty lake called Changu (aka Tsomgo or Tsongo) lake. and then 3-4 days in North Sikkim. Absolute bliss. Visited Yumthang valley and Yumesamdong. Then went to visit Gurudongmar lake at an altitude of 17,100 feet above mean sea level!!! This has been my highest altitude so far. and believe me the oxygen at this height is really very less. you walk for 100ft and you are tired as if you ran for a mile. But the beautiful lake was just mesmerizing!! and all worth it!!
I highly recommend everyone to visit this place atleast once in a lifetime. (PS: only Indians are permitted to visit this place, but foreigners can go to Yumthang)

After I lose some weight, I will be fit enough to go trekking in Sikkim. This is such a beautiful and heavenly place, i want to visit it and go trekking in this untamed place, see it’s beauty in it’s natural splendour. It has lots of rhodendrons and also orchid valley!!!
