save 1000 dollars

I am so grateful that I’ve made this my goal because I went into my ING Direct savings account yesterday and I have a $23 bucks in my account! I had taken money for something, I don’t even remember, that’s how badly I needed the money apparently! So after I pay all my bills out of this paycheck I am going to sock some money away. I need to stay on top of this, even 20 bucks a pay check is SOMETHING!

Darned car insurance is due this month and I have to pay my dad so the money that would be going into savings this paycheck and I’m pretty sure next one will be going towards car insurance. Though I can’t complain because that needs to get paid. I can’t exactly walk all over Jacksonville. Its WAY too spread out!! Oh well, I guess I’ll be saving some next month. At least saving is still on my brain. I also spent a BUTT LOAD of $$$ on food tonight at the grocery. But again, I need to eat!

$96.54 That’s the new grand total in the ing savings account. I only put in $20 from this past paycheck becasue I have my car insurance due this month. It never ends!! Its still better than having the fiffteen bucks thats been the revolving balance for like over a year now!

so they haven’t subtracted any money from my checking account thus far which to me indicates that I was not in fact over paid. I don’t know if I should trust myself and actually spend the excess money or just wait it out and not screw myself.

Though I want to spend a butt load of money on some not so great things so maybe I should just wait it out. And I don’t want to call my boss because they she may realize the mistake! Grrrr! My head is spinning!

So we get paid at my work every other Friday and this Friday my check was A LOT more than I had anticipated. I got paid a little over 400 more. I am trying to watch every penny I spend now because its only a matter of days before they go in and fix the problem. I don’t want to end up in the negative!!

$76.45 That’s my current total I’m happy to say. I am stopping a bad bad habit of mine so I am taking what I would’ve been spending on it and placing it straight into savings. It should be like I don’t even miss it due to the fact that I manage every single paycheck without it anyways. Its small but its a start. In the saving aspect and the stopping.

$16.45 That is my current balance in my savings account. Starting Friday when I get paid we’re gonna push that number up!!

So I opened an ING Orange savings account a few years ago that has an awesome rate of interest and I think I might have 10 bucks in it. That’s pathetic! I owe my parents money from when Jersey got sick last month and I can’t stand depending on them any longer to bail me out. I am going to put something, even if its just 10 bucks away each paycheck. I am a spender not a saver but I am going to change that come hell or high water!
