I am going to finish my Master's degree in 2009. Yes, I am.

now i know where i was before the hiatus.

current mini goal:
clean up my data.

so, i’ve been seriously considering giving up on my degree. mainly due to a lack of interest. but all of my course work is done and i have done most of the research. so, instead of letting myself think about giving up, i am committing myself to finishing it. there’s a good chance i’ll duck out of this field at some point in the future (sooner than later) because i don’t really like it and i’m not really good at it. and because i don’t really get to utilize any of my real strengths. but i have invested a lot of time in this degree and i need to finish it. so, there.

short-term goal: figure out what i was doing 6 months ago before i took this hiatus.
