In the coming months, after my debt has been reduced to nothing, I will buy an 80’s or later Jeep Wranger, swap in a Ford or small Cummins diesel engine, paint it a flat black and army olive, cover the floorboards, dashboard, and rear in diamondplate, lift it, put a KC light rack, a roll bar, a cage style safari rack atop it, add a 50 gal. tank for extra biodiesel, add a 2 ton winch at the bushguard bumper, hardcore suspension, enormous mudswampers, a snorkle, replace the current axels with 1 ton axels, weigh down the back, and fly 2 big rebel and american flags behind it….and NO DOORS (I intend to go places no other road-tripper has gone before….and I intend to do it in style :D )
I’m dragging my boyfriend, my brother, my sister, and a friend along…and we’re getting lost in redneck america, and won’t come back until we’ve had enough.
It will take a year or so, before this “Ultimate” Road Trip can go down… but I imagine there will be many to tell stories of in the meantime :D
