I think I've come as close as I can get. 2 years ago

H&M’s SQIN jeans.

Technically, this may be done. 2 years ago

I have found the perfect pair of jeans—although I didn’t actually buy them, because I’m pretty broke right now.

For my own reference, they were:
  • Old Navy
  • Ultra Low Rise
  • Boot Cut
  • Size 4 Short

Hopefully, they’ll be on sale and/or I’ll be a little more flush with cash soon.

So close. 3 years ago

I keep finding the almost perfect jeans. I grabbed a pair of Gap Long & Lean jeans at a church rummage sale because I figured they’d at least fit someone thinner—but they fit me! No muffin top action, nice fit around the hips and thighs… and a good 8” too long. I guess I can have them hemmed. Whenever I find a good tailor.

I think I have the almost-perfect jeans already: 3 years ago

Gap Stretch Bootcut jeans. The inseam length is perfect- a near-miracle with my short legs - and I really prefer the straight, non-flared pant leg. My only problem is (seeing as they’re the only pre-baby jeans I kept) they’re just a smidge too small around the hips and they ride up in a weird way at times. So, maybe a 6 instead of a 4 would be just the thing I need.

I tried on the Gap's curvy jeans... 3 years ago

And if they’re not the perfect jeans, they’re really really close to being perfect. I don’t like the fact that even the shorter inseam length is still really long on me, but that’s easily remedied. I think I’ll try them on again when I have the time to go to the mall without a tired two year old in tow. I’m also waiting for them to drop in price a little as well, especially if I’m going to also pay for them to be tailored to the right length.

New Gap jeans. 3 years ago

I’m thinking that the Gap’s new line of Curvy cut jeans may be the way for me to go, but we’ll see.
