Take a photo every day

I have lived in the metro DC area since ‘98, and I had no idea that you could actually ride horses in Rock Creek Park.
Today we took The Bean (my daughter) to ride horses. I got quite a few shots of the horses that I liked, but my favorite of today is this cat. It was hanging out with the helmets and seemed to really enjoy that window sill.

I have a soccer ball magnet on my car. It wasn’t completely by choice; there were sweet brown eyes that pleaded that the dreaded soccer ball be displayed.
I really do enjoy watching my daughter play. She really gets into it and loves the camaraderie.
Most of my shots from yesterday are of the game and just after. In this one, the little stinker stopped in the middle of the game to pose.

Friday was another, work late into the evening day… I was able to grab some cheap chinese with the fam, though. Remnants pictured…

I’m still struggling with trying to get out of work early enought to take some shots and enjoy myself. As it turns out, most days I am only able to grab a few on my way home. This picture is the building where I work. I thought it looked cool from this angle.

and I missed it. I left early for work, arrived early for work… all in hopes of leaving early, to no avail. I don’t even have set times to be there, but somehow, around the beginning of Autumn I always begin to miss the sunlight each day.
Anyway, on my way home from Hagerstown I stopped and grabbed this shot. It’s east bound on Route 40, Somewhere between Hagerstown and Fredrick.

Shenandoah again

From the Shenandoah Area.

I have been under the weather literally and figuratively over the past couple of days and have no interesting photos from those days.
I have seen some amazing photos on this site and would love some advice. I am posting a few of my favorite pics that I took this summer. Please feel free to post comments/advice. It will be well appreciated.

The National Cathedral is couple of blocks from where I work. I was running a bit early, so I thought I’d try to grab a few shots. I struggled a bit with the low light, but was pleased with how this one turned out.
