mile time trial

mile time trial today-6:18 which is a PR for me. my goal for the season was 6:15, so i definitely think that’ll be easily possible! yay :)
haha but i got lapped…by my ex. ha yeah that was fun :/

great workout today :)
3 mile repeats: 7:00, 6:55, 6:45
yay i finally got faster with each one. those times are my best mile repeats yet, and they actually felt really great.
i even finished with that I EFFING LOVE RUNNING feeling which is always a nice plus…

yeah so county championships…went out WAAAY to fast. first mile was 6:38, which is a ridiculous pace for me. so obviously i slowed way down and ended up somewhere in the 23’s, not sure what the exact time was but i’ll find out tomorrow. hard course though, alot of our girls actually had to drop out. i actually ended up placing 14th, so i got my goal and medaled! (just barely haha). another meet tuesday, thank god it’s SO much more flat, those hills were killer. i might have to run varsity though since so many of our girls are injured :(



it worked!!

wow, running really is so mental! i decided to stay with 2 girls on my team that have always been faster than me, and i only finished 2 seconds behind them! and i got my best time by a minute. this saturday is the county meet and i’m running jv, so it’s really important to give EVERYTHING because i’ll be counting for points…and if i’m top 14 then i’ll medal (hey it could happen!). i’m determined to be under 23 again this week :) we’re running the course today, i’ll see how everything goes!



saturday

ok so after a bad race last week i am SO ready to get out there and GO!
haha i looked up inspirational running quotes and they actually help, even though i feel kind of stupid doing it.
but seriously i’m holding nothing back on saturday. i want to finish that race and KNOW that i could not have run any better. i’m running varsity again so hopefully that’ll be an extra incentive to push it. i think i’ll try to keep up with a girl that’s usually 10 seconds ahead of me, we’ll see how that goes.
I’M SO PUMPED!

i want to push my body really hard, just to see what i’m capable of. after a run i don’t want to have anything left, i want to know that i gave absolutely everything i could. it’s a really satisfying feeling, and doing it will definitely make me a better runner.
