still on the “no choc” stretch. Absolutely worth it. I still miss it (hell, every day i want it) but i no longer CRAVE it and thats the important thing. By not craving it, i can get by without having it. If its only the case of WANTING it, i can talk myself out of it.

wow – unless i cant count (very possible), my calculations tell me i havent had chocolate for 7 weeks, except for every saturday. I cant believe it. It is still an on-going battle not to eat it but it gets easier every day. i feel really good about saying no to it and my body feels good for not having it so much. Bearing in mind that i was eating a LARGE block a day, no wonder my stomach feels better. i no longer crave it. and when i do have it, i enjoy it more but dont need to eat as much as i used to.

hhhm so the last time i wrote an entry on this, i said i might not have chocolate at all on the saturday (choc day)... ha! Still a ways to go in this addiction because i still ate it on Saturday… Sigh. However, am still not eating the other 6 days a week and thats a definite improvement…. :-)

I’m not sure how many days it has been since i started this goal. All i know is i am going pretty well… my aim was to give it up completely but it was really hard, so what i have done is give up 6 days a week, and allow myself one day (saturday) where i can have a little little bit. I was unsure if i’d be able to do this – i thought i’d go beserk and eat a truckfull of choc every saturday but guess what? Its actually working. I have been eating only a little bit of choc every sat but go nowhere near it any other days and my cravings have reduced so dramatically that i am considering not having any choc AT ALL this saturday. Hows that for willpower!

So i think the trick is to gradually wean yourself off it until u no longer crave it :-)

This is my 3rd day – i am so proud i got even this far…. i am, after all, a full fledged chocaholic… Kudos to me for getting to the 3rd day… hope i havent spoken too soon…
