&& I’m seriously considering starting an online lifestyle (think fashion, music, health, etc.) magazine for college students. I know there are a lot of ambitious, talented people on this site who are all interested in working with magazines and I was wondering if anyone would like to help out with a project like this. Writers, designers, whatever! If I can get enough people to help out with the web design, writing and other stuff I’d be happy to shell out the dough to set up a site & everything. =]

I’ve known ever since I created my first e-zine when I was 10, that magazine publishing was my chosen path.
I’ve since dabbled in other projects and am considering double-majoring in both magazine journalism and advertising or public relations. I realize that magazine jobs are really competitive so I’d like to have an edge and leg-up on others who are competing for the same jobs as me.
Currently I’m working as a stringer for CosmoGIRL! and I’m an editor @ teenscenemagazine.com. But my dream job would really be at a publication like BUST or Venus.
Watch out, Anna Wintour.
