Read a novel in Spanish.

An interesting read about the darker side of Buenos Aires.

Plata Quemada a while back and it’s still sitting on the shelf.

My problem is that I learned to speak Spanish, but not read and write it (I grew up in the US but my parents spoke Castillian at home)

So, it’s slow going for me, and I have many, many words that elloquent writers throw in that I must look up.

But, I was inspired by my muse, Emily, so I want to do this since I can put down the fool medical books for a bit :D

Yay! Reading that doesn’t involve the difficult workings of hormones, or renin angiotensin converting, or how insulin does its thing.

This sounds like fun, I’m going to start tonight :)
