Oh my gosh!!!! Last night we went to my aunt’s for christmas. Now, my uncle’s brother, Bo, it an AMAZING musician. He doesn’t read music, but he can play probably better than anyone I know. So, sometimes when we are there, he’s play with me a bit, and teach me some stuff. So, it wasn’t highly out of the ordinary that he took me over to the corner where he had all of his equipment set up, and a beautiful red Takamine guitar on the stand behind the chair and mike. He told me to sit down and he plugged it in and let me play, and had me sing. The entire basement is wired for sound, so it was amazing. (meaning, the experience, not my voice) He told me how wonderful and special the guitar was, and how nice. I remember thinking, “maybe, someday I can have a guitar this nice.” I assumed it was his. I went down after dinner, and it was gone. I thought that he must have put it away. He let me play HIS guitar, and then it was time for presents. After I’d opened my other gifts, my dad said he had something for me early. And he brought out a brown guitar case with a big gold bow and Takamine on the lid. “you’ve already had some time on it.” I was in utter disbelief. It’s still sinking in. I think I’m going to be doing ALOT more playing. :)
