I’m not really exercising daily, but I’m making a concious effort to do something a little more physical everyday. At lunch time when I was in school, I’d get up and walk around campus before returning to the classroom. I took the stairs even when I didn’t need to and I walk around the family property all the time, even if I just go for water I walk the long way around. Instead of calling my friend on the phone, I walk over to her house. Its just about 50 yards from my front door but it keeps me from being just sedentary all the time. Now that I finished school I’m wondering how I can maintain and increase my exercise. I plan to walk 1 mile a day minimum before school , walk around campus and take the stairs constantly. I may also participate in some of the workout programs they offer at my college.

I walked 1.5 miles today.

I hate pointless exercises, such as those shown in Workout TV an DVDs. I’d rather walk, jump, dance, swim, and play my way to physical health.

I want to walk 2 miles a day—theres a trail right near my home that I can walk on. If I dont get a chance to do the trail, then I like to walk around the campus during lunch. It takes me a little under 20 minutes to walk a mile if thats all I’m doing and I try and walk as far as I can during my 30 minute lunch break, then I walk quickly back to class to be on time.

Theres also a balance bar in my moms room that I like to use. I’m going to start stretching and holding the position for 2 minutes everyday to become more limber and I’m going to start jumping rope 100 times everyday and get back into the habit of using a pogo stick.
