I was out of cream stuff a while back, and instead of buying new stuff, I kind of gave up on my routine. Silly me… But more important: I’m picking at my skin all the time lately, especially my chin. Result: it looks horrible. I have to stop picking, but that’s hard, because it is such a subconscious thing… However, it’s very similar to nail biting, and I was able to stop that too, so I can do this! Step one, similar to how I quit nail biting, is becoming more conscious: noticing when I pick.

My skin is really happy this spring. I think it likes my new skin care product, and the regularity of my skin care. I hope the zits will stay away now too, it would be nice to get rid of them once and for all before my thirtieth birthday…
I thinks the skin care is definitely having an effect. On the whole, my skin is smoother, the pores look better, less dry or “greasy” spots. I still get some zits now and then, but I’ll have to live with that for now. I’ve also added a cream to my routine for the skin around my eyes. It feels really nice, especially in the morning when I need to wake up fast :)
I’ve been cleaning my skin twice a day and still every once in a while a huge zit appears in a prominent place. It’s not fair.
My skin is definitely clearing up. It’s also getting softer again. I just love my little skin routines :)
In the past week I’ve been pretty good with the skin care. Most days I’ve “cleaned and creamed” my skin both in the morning and at night. I think it’s starting to clear up already, but I’m not sure. Either way, it probably won’t get worse now.
I have been picking at my skin a bit, but not very much. It happens mostly subconsciously I guess…
Not much progress to report here, but today I finally bought the skin cleaning product. On my way to the store I decided to buy whatever they had, and it turned out they had just the thing I was looking for! Nice reward for my getting-into-action :) Because I really love this stuff it won’t be a burden to get back into my routine. I’m curious if how fast my skin will clear up.
I used to have a good skin routine, but then I ran out of one of the products I used and somehow it caused me to slip from the routine completely.
Subgoals:
- buy skin cleaning product (if I can’t find the “right” one, just buy something!)
- start routine over: clean skin twice a day, apply day and night cream
- stop picking at stuff, especially my chin
- stop obsessive plucking! that can’t be good for my skin either.
