I have to re-focus on this goal. I was doing okay, being on time for most appointments, but still having some stressful moments. Especially the last-minute stuff like “what do I have to take”, “what was the address again”. Very unnecessary. So new try, and I’ll use the same wording as last time:
I’ll be not only on time, but hurry-free on time for all my appointments for 30 appointments in a row. If, by the end of 30 timely arrivals, I feel comfortable, I’ll consider this done, otherwise I’ll add another 30.
I was 5 minutes late for an appointment yesterday. Most other people were late too, but that’s not the point. If I allow myself this one time, I’ll allow myself more. So, we start over, from zero.

In this post I’ll keep track of the appointments I’ve made it to on time.
March 9: 1 app., perfectly on time for train and stress-free.
March 12: 1 app., on time.
March 14: 2 apps., both on time. 1 was at my place, but ready on time with tea waiting, so it counts.
March 15: 1 app., on time.
March 16: 1 app., very much on time.
March 17: 1 train.
March 18: 1 semi-app.
March 19: 1 app.
March 21: 1 app., 5 minutes late.
So far: 9 apps.
In the past I was late for everything. I’ve been watching my behaviour for the past few months and I’m often able to avoid the lateness, especially by preparing things in advance. For instance first packing my bag and then sitting down for that last cup of tea or last email check. But I’m still late sometimes, and often in a big hurry. This gives me completely unnecessary stress, so I want to get rid of the last bits of lateness.
Following another 43T-er’s example I’m setting myself a measurable goal. I’ll be not only on time, but hurry-free on time for all my appointments for 30 appointments in a row. If, by the end of 30 timely arrivals, I feel comfortable, I’ll consider this done, otherwise I’ll add another 30.
