join a spiritual formation group

So I have applied to be placed in a group, now I just have to wait until they make the placements next month! I’m excited. It will be great to meet with a group of fellow believers for encouragement and learning.

My church has what they call spiritual formation groups to surround you with people to encourage and help you along your journey as a child of God. I think it’s a great way to get more involved withthe church and meet new people, especially since my church is so large with about 5,000 people. I have to go through the discovery class in order to be placed in one, so I think I’ll do that!
