Have my last.fm better represent me

My 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th top tracks used to be all by Saving Jane, and now the 2nd and 3rd positions are occupied by Rufus Wainwright’s “Complainte de la Butte”, and, my personal favorite: Bush’s “Glycerine”...

I’m not trying to go on a binge-listen to all my favorite tracks, but just by playing music constanly while I’m home is starting to show a little.

My laptop deserves star treatment because it travels with me, just within the house while I fold laundry/clean/do dishes/etc. This often makes me take longer with doing things because I’m either a)singing, b)dancing, or c)both(!) to whatever’s on. And though they aren’t on my list as a top artist, they’re quickly getting there: She Wants Revenge is perfect singing-dancing-accomplishing music… this week.

Under my top tracks, Saving Jane is at the top of the list. Okay, so I didn’t really ‘hate’ them at first, but then “Girl Next Door” became overplayed. I know my sister put Saving Jane on repeat on the home computer, which linked to my last.fm scrobbled. At the time, you couldn’t edit tracks, and it’s too far back that I can’t take them out.

And I love how wrong iTunes is. It doesn’t matter how many times I play “Glycerine”... Placebo songs get recognized way more often, which I can’t explain.
