learn to knit or crochet

Sorry, I just couldn’t find this interesting. I tried.

I’m getting better. I still don’t particularly enjoy doing it for more than fifteen minutes or so, and if I drop a stitch I’ll be damned if I’m going back to fix it, but I’m getting a little better.

Jenn gave me three lovely skeins of wool and a pair of knitting needles, so I have all the tools I need. It’s time to get started on this—but it looks so difficult! I’m not sure I’m going to be able to learn from diagrams in books, because I feel like I need to see hands in motion. And the verbal explanations are somewhat inexplicable… I understand all the words, but I have no idea what they mean.

Still, I’m at the tail end of winter (FINALLY), so I have a good nine months to figure out how to make something warm.
