...but proud I am, nevertheless!

With Ross’s help I made a pretty new Archive page for my blog, with its own header image and style information. It’s not much of an achievement in and of itself, but it allowed me to get rid of a bunch of superfluous links on my main blog page (a rapidly growing list of monthly archives) and put them on a separate page. And it heralds the beginning of what I hope will eventually be a successful attempt to divide the site into several different sections.

This stuff is hard in really annoying ways. :-)

Also trying to figure out the Wordpress page building interface so I can design some other pages for my site besides the blog page. It’s a bit of a tangle because there’s no good “beginning point” where I can start and learn everything from the top down – everything I want to learn how to do requires learning about something else first, in an endless continuing loop. It’s pretty satisfying though. And Ross does help. :-)

...again, it got good reviews. :-)

I’m interested in expanding the set of skills I can offer to organizations when I volunteer, and I think this would be unbelievably useful. Also, of course, when I become my own boss (hah!) I’d like to be able to build my powerhouse website. And make it sparkly.
