Susan and I met in middle school, we were B.F.F’s insantly we stayed friends even after we were married. we even got pregnent at the same time. our daughters were best friends as well. we were 19 married high school drop outs together with kids. our lives were completly in sink. the weight of motherly and wifely duties was alot to handle for a cupple of teens. so when we had disscoverd meth and all its so called glory, we both fell under its spell and we became hooked. then we grew tired of hidding it and asked our hubands to join in, then we were all hooked. we partyed all the time except when one of us was pregnent. This went on for years. Until my husband started useing xanex and vikkeden to come down and became hooked on them as well. my life was on a downword spiroll. Susan’s was as well she was having an affare with her neghbor when her husband found out he beat her. He was sent to jail, she contnued to see her lover, but when her husband got out she took him back. While in jail her husband found God. when he came home they started going to church every sunday. I admired this from affar. Some how the meth creeped back in there lives and her husband was sent to jail agin for throwing a metal lock at her, he was on probation at the time so the sentince was much worse this time. With my husband all wacked out and hers in jail we needed each other. Unfortunitly we needed the drug as well. My husband was writting out illegal perscriptions to himself, steeling from everyone and becomming abusive to me. dispite our drug use we all knew this was a mess and we all wanted out. My husband was given a choice to enter drug rehab or loose me and the kids for good. He chose rehab. Susan said the wisest thing to me one night while he was in rehab. If you dont make the same effort to quit you will lose him forever that day was the last day I used drugs. while in rehab he met a man who Led him to Christ. he came clean with every lie he’d ever told me.when he came home it was all about the two fo us. Susan was depressed with her husband in jail and her best friend (me) so involved in my own life, she took a turn for the worse. She found new friends who subsaqently introduced her to harroian. The day I went to the alter and gave myself to the lord, is the last day I ever saw her that was June 19th 2005. I miss her so much, I did try to keep in contact however she changed her phone number. I realized God removed her from my life for a reason. but I still love her and her family, she remains a part of my daily prayers.
