Go on a road trip

Drove to Chicago with Sam for my birthday. Does that count? Lollapalooza was an adventure. Morris was an adventure. But it was just all planned.

No, no. This is staying on my list. I want to go somewhere I don’t know with someone I love. Discover things we can call our own, if only in a small way.

Or something like that. I have places I feel I need to explore, things I need to see, and friends from around the country that I need to finally meet up with. I can’t imagine anything more freeing than the idea of living freely without fear that interactions will come back to haunt me.

I guess, in a lot of ways, it’s to avoid the “real world,” but I think it’s also something I want to do while I still can. While I’m still just a crazy kid who doesn’t know any better. While I still have time to spare, and few responsibilities to follow through on.
