walk to Rivendell

10/18 Walked 2 miles over the past month reaching mile 41, meeting and traveling in the company of elves after the black rider passed again.

9/16 Walked 1.5 miles to mile 39 through the ancient oak woods as twilight falls.

Since I had been on vacation I hadn’t updated, but here is my progress to date:

8/31 ….1.0…..37.5….Turning right at the split to enter the ancient oak woods.

Walked 1 mile with my dog, quietly starting my journey to Rivendell. I reached the gate, and headed west. I don’t remember Hobbiton having so many security lights, but I did enjoy the luminescence of the solar lawn lights. The weather was cool, but not cold and a full moon was just rising in the east.
