My son....

wanted to finish this with me last weekend until we realized we could not find the parts bag with the screws. They had been on the table until I had cleaned the table, so I have to postpone again for a bit until the bag is located, but both my sons are keen to help me complete this as a chore, so I will have to redouble my efforts to find all the parts!

Alternative use

Never finished building the 2nd bookcase yet, but have been using the shelves to keep Zody off the furniture when no one is home. I really need the bookcase through and will bump the priority on this so I can complete my spring cleaning!

Bookcase #1 done

Put together the first bookcase on Thursday, although when we nailed on the backing, I messed up and the bookcase leans just slightly to the right. I could fix it, but I’m not a perfectionist, and I’m happy to use it just the way it is.

Bought the bookcases

I bought 2 bookcases last Sunday for 20% off and I look forward to putting them together since I know the shelves will already be full when I’m done! The bookcases I previously bought were already assembled, so this is a bit more of a challenge, but I did put together other similar items like a microwave cart, so I am ready to go!
