hCG is the answer for me!

Well, I haven’t exactly kept up on this little blog of sorts. I’ve been through one complete round of hCG, and am now through phase 2 of my second round. I start maintenance tomorrow.

hCG is something I will swear by for the rest of my life. I truly believe it saved my life. To date, I have lost 48 pounds, and well over 38 inches of my body head to toe.

I swear by this diet plan and tell anyone and everyone who wants to hear about everything I know. I am also coaching 4 other people through their hCG journeys.

I would still like to do one more round, as I would like to lose another 25 pounds. But I am so much happier with myself nowadays. Hooray for me!!!!

HCG - Phase 2 Day 1

Today was Day 1 Phase 2….the day I start VLCD. I was really anxious to cut back on food as the load days were tough. I didn’t think the hard part would be eating all that food, but it was difficult.

Today I had a big glass of tea for breakfast. I really wasn’t hungry until about 10:30, but I did not cheat. For lunch, I had a spinach and chicken salad with my allotted 100 grams of protein. For the dressing I mixed apple cider vinegar with water and some salt, garlic, basil, celery seed, and pepper. It was pretty tasty. Also had my grissini breadstick. That was the treat. :)

At about 2:00, I had my apple for a snack. It was delicious, but then again, I love apples! :)

I really had no hunger pangs for dinner which was a nice surprise. For dinner, I cooked up some hamburger and tomatoes with some garlic, basil, red pepper flakes, chili powder, etc….it was very good. Nice beefy stew, YUM! Also had my melba toast and my apple!

Following morning weigh-in – loss of 2.2 pounds!!



HCG - Phase 1 Day 2

P1D2 is another load day. I ate and ate and I was so full. Ugh. Phase 2 will be a welcome break! Decided to load up on a greasy pepperoni pizza as my ‘last supper’ as well. It was delicious. I will miss the cheese. :(

HCG - Phase 1 Day 1

P1D1 is a ‘load’ day. I ate everything in sight and I started taking the drops. I was full by lunch and I still had to eat more!! I put on 3 pounds!!!! Ugh…..Load day 2 is miserable. I am so full!!! I will welcome the VLCD in P2…at least for the first day. More updates tomorrow!



After much consideration....

I have decided to try hcg. I’ve known several people that have tried this and all have become very successful. I have already ordered the sublingual kit and am awaiting delivery. I am VERY excited to start a new chapter in my life….a chapter called ‘Skinny and Happy!’



The First 10 pounds!

Okay, so I’m being better about what I eat. I only drink soda 2 or 3 times a week, compared to the 2 or 3 times I day I used to. I’m walking at lunch, and I take the dogs for a walk when I get home from work. Lunches are work are considerably healthier as I try to munch on fresh veggies, plain rotisserie chicken and a few crackers for some crunch. I always drink water or unsweetened tea. I’m getting there, but progress is slow.
