well, it’s still kind of a work in progress, but at least I am ‘in progress.’
One way that I’ve found to be more loving is to extend myself in ways that are…personal (i guess?). What I mean is, by letting people into my personal world that I keep so dearly away from the public, I let them into a world (my world to be specific) and therefore I share a part of me with them.
I say that it’s a work-in-progress because I find that it’s a really hard to do sometimes with certain people. To let someone in is to show that you trust them…so I guess it’s an issue of trust.
Either way, it’s like giving someone a key to your inner world and hoping that they just don’t step in and want to run as fast as they can, or just look around without a second glance. Personally, I think it hurts the most when they just ‘look’ and leave.
To some, it’s an easy thing to do-to let anyone in. I’m not like that…I’m more discerning when I decide to let someone in. But I have, but I think it’s worth it.
So, I think I’ll try to let more people in—or at least, I can try to give them a peek (although I don’t think I’d know how).

one way i found how to be more loving is to give hugs…
yeah.
it’s strange but i realized that i feel awkward to show affection…to anyone. i think that’s pretty bad of me. maybe it’s because of this fear i have that i may try to give a hug and the ‘huggee’ will back away of fear or something—oddly enough however, i’ve noticed people welcome hugs and feel flattered when they receive them.
soooo, i’ll give more hugs. : )
