attend my 20 year West High School reunion in Anchorage, Alaska

I must admit, I am the collector of “stuff” through the decades. Besides the obvious year book from the high school years. Napkins of writings and scribblings from hanging out at LeRoy’s and Denny’s, matchbooks from every bar and dive in Anchorage, a booty of Lucky Lager caps(why?), a note from someone named Sandy asking me if I’ve turned in my French homework(what the….?), a program of “Little Mary Sunshine”, the list is not short. No wonder I need a storage for my storage. The things I can’t find, I must of thrown away in a vain attempt to lighten the load.

Finnhamn is one of the 24,000 islands within the Swedish archipelago (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_archipelago) and about two hours from Stockholm by boat. N59´ 28,97 E18´ 49,61.
Instead of commuting back and forth, I am moving to a wee cabin just five minutes walking from the Krog. It reminds me very much of the Prince William Sound, less the mammal action and less the elevation of the islands.
It’s an everyday job, 10-14 hrs a day, through the end of September. Given the summer schedule of madness, its makes it very unlikely that I will be able to be in Anchorage for the reunion. However, I’ll have a bash at attempting to get away for a week.
I was so looking forward to hanging with my locker partner again and playing some quarters with the Jode-meister as well as everyone else. I must say though, it is great to read the updates of one and all and be in some contact with the class of ’86. Skål Allihopa!!(Cheers everyone)
