Get a driver's license

I got my license today! My aunt tricked me and said we were going to pick up some random stuff and while we were out we went to the DMV and I passed the test. It was much easier than my first test which lasted less than 10 seconds and to top it off I wasn’t brought to tears!

So I have got my permit again… and as has happened before someone threw a wrench in my plans to get a license. The person teaching me cannot go with me anymore. I had a goal of getting it before a trip but because of the poor planning and this upset I will have to try with another person when I return.

I really don’t want to give up… I am getting to old to not have a license.

So right before it started snowing in fact 2 weeks to the day before it started snowing a good friend of mine called me out of the blue and offered to teach me how to drive… I have driven before but not in a solid period of time where I could feel comfortable. Anyway all I had to do was get a permit and we could practice… Well I was busy and it started to snow and now I have to wait until it melts. It sucks but what can you really do? Black ice scares me…

So I have had two permits in my life one when I was 16 and then another when I was 22 neither resulted in anything but frustration and anxiety. I pass the test but I just have found excuse after excuse not to get it together long enough to feel comfortable driving.

Bah I am frustrated in 25 days I will be 26 yrs old and still no license! I don’t have anyone that trust me let me practice so I guess the game plan is to go to a drivers school or something. I guess I am setting the date to start this process in late April because the thought of trying to drive during undesirable weather conditions scares me.
