Visit Germany (again)

last night i was so happy to be back in germany, i woke up crying.

i had another dream about my visit, and i was so happy, i kissed the ground.
i hope someday i get to go back. i dream about it alot. it’s always the same place, and i am looking for an old boyfriend. he’s probably dead by now, or he wouldn’t remember me. more like i’d never find him.
the cobblestone streets were so vivid.
i looked at airfair, that is do-able. but the hotel i would want to stay at is not. the economy sucks too much right now to even consider any kind of vacation, so i start my 2nd year with no vacations.

this is gonna happen when i thought it would.

after so many years. she is still in my heart. i need to get back to see her. hopefully for my 50th birthday.

but it won’t.
i guess i will see her in my dreams, and that’s about it for now.

i am planning a trip to germany

another century ago, i went to high school there. lived in Worms, went to Mannheim American High School. 3 years. i want to return, and see what happened to the area. outside of living in NY, Germany is the only other place i ever felt at home in. (I lived all over as a kid. dad was in the military). Alaska in less than 2 weeks, followed by my Las Vegas/Grand Canyon vacation next year, followed by Germany. that’s the plan. and i hope i can stick to it.

unless Greece (Crete) steals me away.
