so, so close!! I’m super excited to be able to cross this goal off my list. there were a few times where I ALMOST let this one go.. cause i wanted to be shopping instead of saving. but i’m so proud of myself for coming this far :)

Payday’s tomorrow. So I’ll be able to put more away. but I realized in order to be able to save $3000 in time, I’ve got to put in $360 for the remainder of the next few months.
I thought I’d have to put a hold on this goal after getting my massive Visa bill for last month :(. But, I’ve been paying it in increments until it’ll be due on Feb. 14th. I only have 1/3 left to pay, and my next paycheque more than covers that. So I’ll be able to put another $280 behind lock and key :)
I came up with a plan to follow for the next three months while I’m still working full-time before I have to go back to school.
Per paycheque:
$100 to spend
$30-$50 to charity
$280 towards my travel savings
the rest towards general savings.
Then when I have to pay for tuition, I can take it from my general savings. Whatever’s left over from that section can go into my travel savings account. Then I’ll make a new plan for my part-time job for the following four months :).
