Send a message in a bottle

I am addicted to the show Lost. I am coming to this addiction late in the show as they are already half way through season 3 but I am catching up nicely thanks to Blockbuster and ABC’s free video online. For those of you that don’t watch the show these people are stranded on an island because of a plane crash. I won’t ruin it for you in case you plan to watch it with too many details but as part of the plot they put messages in a bottle. I had not seen this done in such a long time. I got to thinking how beautiful is that! So I am going to write a poem and place it in a bottle. Then I will decorate the bottle with my new hobby, mosaic tile, so it does not look like garbage. I will put my address on it and just wait and see if someone finds it. I am doing it to remind myself how connected we all are. To strangers we don’t even know. As human beings. Despite our differences. It is good to be reminded of that sometimes. Anyway tune in and watch Lost if you haven’t. It is about the human struggle. To be good instead of evil. We all have both inside of us and adversity has a way of bringing the best and the worst in us out. Good luck with your bottles!
