Once I’m done with my java course this semester, I’m going to read what there is of Why’s guide to ruby again. Once I’ve done that, I’ll be giving up on a happy ending and marking this as done.

No, really, you’d better check.

This “book” is brilliant! Why’s (Poignant) Guide to Ruby is a great way to learn the language if you have a sense of humour. If all programming books where written like this, some of them might actually get read all the way through!

I’m only about 1/2 way through, but Why’s method of relating programming terms to say….caterpillars really makes it easy to remember what each part of the language does and why.
