Be Understood

I have come to the realization that i am understood even if i don’t always feel like it and if i just stop avoiding people when I’m upset then it will be much easier for others to understand me

I feel so lost, I want to be understood but I don’t think I even understand myself. I know my parents don’t understand me I go out of my way to make sure they don’t know everything about me. I’m pretty sure my friends don’t understand me because I try my hardest to hide my sadness. There is only one person who might understand me but the last I checked that may not be the case either… so how am I supposed to be understood if I don’t understand myself?
