get my home organized

This will help the small business plans get going, as I now have dedicated space and ample bulletin boards around the room. I’m sitting in it now and I can’t WAIT to get back to working on some pieces for the company :)

Yippee – organization is such a motivator for me :)

considering I haven’t “worked” in 2 weeks, and been home for 6 though, it could be better. My office is now ROCKING since we installed shelves in our very wide landing in our stairs leading upto the 2nd floor. Without all the books and clutter all of my creative life now has a home of it’s own, instead of a dining room. This is progress.

And I love my new Ikea laptop table “DAVE” – the best one i have seen yet – so perfect to adjust and move with you around the house (if you live like I do…)

Spring cleaning is coming, and I can’t wait for it. I need to open up the windows, wear flipflops and get back into the garden. I need sunlight! The house will feel cleaner once it’s been aired out. Hopefully soon!

We’re making progress and have some great solutions to some of my clutter issues. i need a space. i need a big table where i can go and do my ‘stuff’, be it paint, or printmake or whatever. I have the whole 3rd bedroom and I love it, but I need to remove all the bookshelves and place the books on new bookshelves built around the fireplace in the living room. Then, I can put my table against the wall or looking out the window, and not have the dining room looking like the girl-guide camp craftroom.

The sequence of events has been established, we’re just at planning stage. Bookshelves for living room, books move out of office, desk goes in, my stuff follows and will be well organized!

Closer… and I even cleaned out some more kitchen cabinets… insanity.

this Thing is almost complete – I’m seeing major progress with the onset of February. That is the only reason to love February in Canada – it really odes bring out the inner hermet in everybody. I really think we use February to get organized, catch up on movies, and basically get caught up on all that you avoided during the spring, summer & fall.

Anyway – the cleaning of my office, organization of the tax stuff, decluttering of the main floor and kitchen cupboards has all made me feel like I can see the light at the end of this Thing. Yippee!!
