exhibit my photographs in a public place

no sure if this counts, but the more i think about it, the more excited i get. i mean, who knows really?

ok… so my friend kiki just left for tanzania and had a swanky fundraiser to raise money to finish a school in a remote village there. the great news is a) she got there fine this week b) she raised over 7k; 50% more than she expected and enough to FINISH the school and c) my donated piece, a cool photo i took and framed, was tied with one other piece for the highest in the auction :)

kiki told me the girl who bought it was someone she works with. she said everyone loved it (i wasn’t able to be there) and that the girl who bought it called to say it looks perfect in her place and she loves it.

OMG!!!

I need to at least post a few now and then to see if I get some feedback. That might help the motivation factor. I think that in the winter and fall I have less inspiration and fall into the routine of not taking pictures like I do in the spring and summer.

So here is a photo I took about a half hour ago, in my backyard.
