Every since an certain person left my company a couple of months ago, this has been much easier to focus on. I’ve been working with a VP who was unable to have a very important interaction with a client and really dragged it out, and through it all I was pretty patient, asked for help and advice from others when I needed it, and stayed even keel about the matter when discussing it with people at work, without showing open agitation. The main emotion I allowed myself to have in the situation was kind of a baffled confusion as to not understanding why the task was so hard and I was able to verbalize that I was disappointed in the person without lashing out at anyone or thing.
