Another .5 down

And honestly, I didn’t really try last week. I was shocked it went down at all. I think all the non hot yoga I’ve been doing is really helping – my clothes are starting to feel really loose. I think I need to go down a jean size now, even if they are a bit too tight – to help ease the transition from jeans that aren’t tight at all when I take them out of the dryer and are falling off 15 mintues later.

Eight down, 12 to go!

Had a bit of stagnancy during the holidays, but am back on track with this goal!

No gain, no loss

Not so bad considering all the food I consumed Saturday and Sunday. :-) I’m going to focus on a bigger than ususal loss for this week with the usual weight loss that can come with a post-feast bounce.

So, I ate whatever I wanted

on Christmas Eve and Day, I just tallied up the points and still had 10 to spare for my weekly total so I didn’t do too badly. I was supposed to weigh today, but will do it tomorrow. I jumped right back on track today and made a nice healthy soup first thing after I got home. We’ll see how tomorrow goes. Even if I’m up one pound, I know it’s not the end of the world since I jumped back on track.

Another one down!

So, on Monday, my official day for weigh in, I’d lost another pound for a grand total of seven. It looks like I’m doing pretty well so far this week, but, I’ll have big Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day brunch before them. To compensate I’ve been really watching what I eat this week, and am upping my workout time. Yee haw!

The scale keeps movin' on down - doot, doot dooo

Another two pounds down this week!

I was a little concerned. We had our holiday party last week so I made sure I didn’t go wild with the drink and sweets, but on Saturday I had a bit of a chocolate attack. However, the next day I went to the lake for 20 minutes of brisk walking and 40 minutes up and down the stairs, which seemed to balance out my badness.

My goal is to lose 10 lbs before Christmas. Regardless of how much it ends up being, I’m doing a good job of losing during a lot of holiday food events, so that’s pretty cool in itself!

Do Over

So, I started, I slacked, but I started again last week…
and lost four pounds! Yipee!

Three down, 17 to go!

It was a pretty good first week. This week is going much better though with sticking to portion control and eating more veggies!

I started today!

All the exercise and healthier eating has been great, but I think I need to get a better handle on portions. I signed up for an online food diary tracker thing today so hopefully that will end up being the missing part of my equation.
