I added up my Credit Card Debt..not good

I added up my CC’s today and the grand total is 8,826.00, I have nothing to show for it..so sad. BUT I’m ready to change, soon I will be done with AmeriCorps, which I don’t get paid for, and I will be able to start chipping away. I have about 3k coming my way that is for school, but I’m going to use it for my debt instead. So that will bring me to about 5,826. I will be cutting up my CC’s as soon as I move to Denver…I swear! I will put about 20percent of my income into my money market account, and let it collect some interest, then pay off my biggest CC, 3,171.81 I’m ready to leave my debt behind. I hope to be debt free in 2 years. After 2 years I can join the Peacecorps!!
