Doing good so far! 2 years ago

Yesterday was super easy! I had grapes and some of the Trader Joe’s just bananas, but supper was stuffed green peppers with a huge salad and some bread. That was easily more than three servings right there and thats not counting the sandwich I made for lunch with lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.



Day One 2 years ago

After being one serving short yesterday I got my 2 servings of fruit and two servings of veggies.

I had red pepper strips, a lot of veggie chili, carrots, grapes, and raisins. WooHoo!



I have the tools... 2 years ago

Tonight we went to the grocery store and I got a ton of fresh fruit and veggies, we also got some frozen ones too. I just had some frozen mangos on some vanilla bean ice cream (amazing)! The hard part is not going to be eating 5 different things,but eating the correct serving sizes. I’m hoping tomorrow I will eat:

1 cup grapes
1 cup fruit cocktail (I know not the best but it’s a leftover so I need to eat it)
1 cup leafy greens (aka salad)
1 cup raw carrots
1 cup red pepper strips

We’ll see what actually happens…



If I can do this for a month... 2 years ago

They say it only takes 30 days to form a habit, so if I can do this for 30 days then it will become second nature? I’ll give it a try and probably journal to keep myself accountable. I have to go grocery shopping but I’ll see what I have around here and try to start today.
